The end of the year is just around the corner and so is the end of most semesters. Time for a new update! The last few months we have been working hard on our new bulk survey feature. With this new feature, you can add a survey to many courses at the same time without having to go to the individual courses. Interested? Please read along!




What is bulk survey distribution?

Bulk surveys is an opt-in feature that allows you to add surveys from the root-account to courses in only a few steps!

Step 0 - Set up your survey as usual (you probably already did this)

Step 1 - Pick your survey.

Step 2 - Set a moment to distribute and publish to your students/ participants.

Step 3 - Select your courses.

Step 4 - Configure the settings for the assignment like the title, number of points and the due date.

What surveys can be used in bulk distribution?

All surveys that can be copied in Canvas can be used for bulk. You can check if your survey can be copied by going to the survey set up in the integration. Surveys are copyable when they do not include selection data fields or embedded data fields of type fixed that make API calls.

Can I use bulk surveys in my blue prints?

Yes! You can create a bulk survey for either blue prints or regular courses. You simply toggle that you want to see only blue print courses.

Updated scopes

The scopes of the developer keys of Qualtrics LTI were updated. This was necessary to support the new bulk survey feature. Please find the current scopes of Qualtrics LTI below:
