Release notes - October 2020

The new academic year has started for many, so it is time for a new feature and some minor changes to Qualtrics LTI. We proudly present our In-class surveys!

In class surveys

Use your surveys in class while also capturing the data from that course. Use the in-class type to add a survey as a QR code that can be shown using a beamer. Or simply copy the QR code to distribute your survey from within your handouts or slide sets.

This new feature is an opt-in feature. You can enable it in the Admin settings of the root-account. After enabling the feature you can add a new survey and it will ask you if you want a standard assignment or an in-class assignment.

Unlinked type

We added the datatype Unlinked for embedded data. Unlinked is for all the fields that do not need to be sent from Canvas. When adding a survey to the integration all fields start off as Unlinked and the by default Enabled for survey selection is disabled. This update will save you time setting up surveys where you have a lot of data fields that you do not fill with Canvas data.

Help?!

Teachers, sub-accounts, and the root account now have a help button. It can be found under the navigation button.

Under the help button, you will find the links to our user guides as well as an email address to send questions to. For the root account, this is support@drieam.com and for the others, it is the email you set for the Qualtrics domain that the sub-account or teacher is linked to.
