Moment of automatic synchronization
StudyCoach automatically retrieves the data chosen in StudyCoach from Canvas every night around midnight (CET).
Which data is synchronized?
To keep the dashboard in StudyCoach accurate and organized, StudyCoach is built from the hierarchical (sub)accounts and chronological (terms) structure of Canvas. Per (sub)account and per term, the educational institution can choose whether the underlying data from Canvas should be synchronized to StudyCoach.
When a (sub)account or term from Canvas is synchronized to StudyCoach, all linked data can be visible in the various users' dashboards. The data that is synchronized from Canvas to StudyCoach can include courses, course enrollments, learning analytics, and learning outcomes.
