Insight in goal activity (timeline tab on goal card)

What is the goal timeline?

The goal timeline assists in getting a better understanding of the events related to a goal. Seeing the amount of activity and when the goal has last been worked with can give an indication of the effort spent by the student to achieve the goal. Additionally, the timeline can be used by both students and teachers to track any changes made to a goal.

A complete and chronological overview of everything which has happened (and when) related to a goal. Each goal has its own dedicated timeline and will look different depending on the activity related to the goal.

The left side of the timeline shows all events related to the goal itself, such as the creation date, executed progress reviews, and when the status of the goal is changed. The right side of the timeline shows all related activities; for example linked collections, linked evidence, removed evidence, and when a new version of evidence is added.

When and for whom are goal timelines visible?

Whenever the portfolio owner adds/removes/changes something related to the goal, this will be reflected on the timeline. The portfolio owner can always see the timeline(s). Those who have access to the entire portfolio or to a collection which includes (a) goal(s), can also see the timeline(s).

NOTE! Goal timeline(s) are not included in snapshots (frozen versions), Showcase,- and Assessment links.
